Disney Nepal is a new netbook computer powered by Asus and launched a few days ago by Disney. It was designed especially for children and equipped with a durable chassis, the Disney user interface, an 8.9-inch LCD display, Wi-Fi module, Windows XP Home edition, over 40 parental control options, and fun applications for children.

Kids can use Disney Nepal for web browsing, chatting, email and others, while parents have different options for controlling online safety.

Via the Disney Magic Desktop children can access the Disney email interface, the Disney browser with friendly web sites, 15 fun widgets including a digital memo pad, a calculator and a stopwatch, as well as other Disney-themed applications.

The netbook runs with an Intel ATOM N270 processor, and also features 1GB DDR2 memory, 16GB SSD or 160GB HDD storage, VGA port for external monitors, 3 USB 2.0 ports, LAN, headphone/mic-in audio jacks, built-in 0.3MP web camera, card reader, high-definition audio, stereo speakers, microphone, and 5-hour battery life.

It measures 248 x 173 x 28.7 mm at 1Kg and there are two colors available: Princess Pink and Magic Blue.
